Previously identified as Wesfarmers House , the building was rebranded in June 2017 as 40 The Esplanade in order to reflect the dynamic changing environment of Elizabeth Quay and it’s prominent position.
It is a lasting example of what an iconic building represents and has been widely acknowledged for distinctive excellence.
With brilliant and practical design, the architecture and workmanship has enabled the building to maximise the benefits of natural light and the inspiring views from every level.
The expansive entrance foyer incorporates double volume glass, marble on the floors and walls, and flows through to a private furnished lounge and informal meeting area. This area looks out onto an external courtyard area with beautiful perimeter landscaping, planting and mature trees.
The main pedestrian entry from The Esplanade provides the identity for the building. A ground level marble staircase, separated by a massive feature dragon tree , leads from the street into the foyer.
A second entrance connects the foyer with William Street and this entry features planting and double volumes.
